David holds a Bachelor of Science Architecture Degree from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi in 1999 and a Postgraduate Diploma in Architecture from the same University in 2001.
He was employed by CLAIM Limited on 1st January, 2006 as an Executive Assistant ( marketing and sales) and has since received intensive instructions in both theoretical and practical aspects of insurance.
He has been exposed to writing of business correspondence and practical insurance broking in the areas of motor insurance underwriting, fire and accident insurance as well as marine insurance. He participated in the Insurance Foundation course organized in February, 2007 by the Ghana Insurance College. He has since then obtained the Advance Diploma in Insurance from the Chartered Insurance Institute of London (CII).
David acts as the anti-money laundering/combating of terrorism officer for the company. He is proficient in all Microsoft Office packages and has strong passion for IT applications in business.
He participated in the Ghana Insurance Brokers Association 1st , 2nd and 3rd Annual Educational Conference and Exhibition in March 2014, March 2015 and March 2016 respectively. He attended the capacity building seminar on ECOWAS Brown card Insurance scheme in September 2015 and the Building Fire Risk Assessment Seminar in November 2014 both sponsored by the Ghana Insurers Brokers Association.
Also, he participated in the Introduction to the Oil and Gas and Onshore Energy Insurance organized by Lockton Cos LLC (UK) in November 2012 and Agricultural Risk Management Training organized by the World Bank in January, 2011.
